How to play it

• Knobs: drag up or down on a knob, or scroll over it. MASTER is the volume. On a phone, switch to Controls: one row per encoder; drag sideways along the strip, or tap −5 −1 +1 +5. The screen shows what each knob is set to.
• Buttons work while held. Shift-click a button to latch it down (for REC + key or HOME-hold), click again to release. On a phone, hold two buttons with two fingers. On iPhone, turn off silent mode to hear it.
• Computer keys: Space PLAY, Enter EDIT, H HOME, R REC, A ARP, [ ] OCT− / OCT+, arrows turn ALGORITHM (↑↓) and PRESETS (←→). Z…, and Q…I play the keyboard.

What this is

This is the BB1 firmware itself, running in your browser: the same screen and the same sound engine as on the FM-1. Only the panel around it is drawn for the web.
