← Play BB-BOBPlay the FM-1 panel
All 14 buttons, seven encoders, master and the full 27-note keyboard. Open FM-1 · physical controls beneath the emulator’s screen to try the same C input mapping used by the firmware.
HOME opens Conduct without moving the song. SEQ opens the playing keys. SEL opens band switches and GLO opens Play Bob. The screen tells you what the keys and knobs do.
Every button has a job
| Printed button | BB-BOB action |
| OCT− / OCT+ | Keyboard octave on every page. Both together reset the keyboard octave. |
| FX | Fill it up. |
| SEL | Band switches. SEQ opens playing keys. Eight white keys switch the automatic players. |
| ENV | Sound: Glow, Swell, Fiddle colour, Air. Notes stay playable. |
| LFO | Style: knob 1 changes FUNK. Then → Now remains on ALGORITHM; notes stay playable. |
| EDIT | Songs: browse with PRESETS; PLAY confirms. New Tune is the first row. |
| GLO | Bob: GLO jumps call families, PRESETS pages through them; final three keys are Leon, Ah-ha, Random. |
| HOME | Open Conduct: Fill, Break, Leon, Theme, Ending, All In, Auto Bob, Source Solos. |
| SAVE | Open eight temporary Keeps. Press again to store; PLAY recalls. RAM only: reload/power-off loses them. |
| ARP | Take It Away, Leon. |
| SEQ | Open Play Keys and play the selected live instrument. |
| PLAY | Play / rest the band. On Songs: confirm. On Keeps: recall. |
| REC | Generate a new tune; joins at a bar line while playing. |
Find the fiddle tone
Press ENV, then turn KNOB 3 · FIDDLE. Left is acoustic bow; right adds the synth fiddle. The same slider is always visible in FIDDLE SOUND beside the emulator’s main controls. It changes tone; songs choose short or held strokes from note length, while keys start with a held bow. Then → Now can add more synth colour.
Turn and play
SELECT chooses your live instrument, or the slot on Keeps. PRESETS opens the song list, or pages call families on Bob / slots on Keeps. ALGORITHM always controls Then → Now. Knob 1 is Tempo on playing pages, Glow on Sound and FUNK on Style. Song key and original form are on knobs 2 and 3 of Songs; Conduct also offers form on knob 3. Every page returns Home after 8 seconds without a touch; holding a key keeps it open. Knobs 1–4 show their current jobs and values on the 240px screen. MASTER stays your volume control.
Hold a note for its natural sustain and lift to release. Sound and Style preserve held notes. Changing the keyboard’s job, stopping or losing browser focus releases them. Band mutes affect automatic chairs; you can still play your selected live instrument.
These screenshots come directly from the native C renderer. This candidate is checked offline; its hardware timing, controls and safe return remain unqualified. No installable package is claimed. Matrix/encoder/LED agreement, touch response, LCD visibility and sustained hardware timing remain physical checks. No flash save, installation or USB operation is implied. Keep recall leaves transport and master alone; the song and stored tempo join at a bar line, while recalled mix and sound controls act immediately.
